How to Install the Canon R100 Dummy Battery

The Mobibooth Aura M, Cruise M, and EDGE support the Canon EOS R100 mirrorless camera. This guide shows how to install the provided dummy battery (ACK-E18/LP-E17).

Step 1 #

Open the battery compartment door on the bottom of the R100 camera. If there is a battery installed, remove it from the camera.

Step 2 #

Install the dummy battery (LP-E17) into the battery slot of the camera. Using your finger, open the rubber tab for the cable on the side of the camera and feed the power cable through it.

Close the battery compartment door and slide the lock tab into the locked position.
