How to Rotate the iPad in the Aura

This article will walk you through the basic steps needed to rotate your iPad in the Mobibooth Aura L head. These steps are used to place the iPad into landscape orientation.

Steps:

  1. Remove the faceplate from the Aura’s head.
  2. Remove the iPad from the unit.
  3. Locate the 4 bolts holding the inner white plastic and remove them. Use the L key included with your unit to do so.

  4. Remove the inner white plastic and set it to the side.
  5. Locate the 4 bolts holding the inner metal plate and remove them. Use the same L key to do so.

  6. Lift the inner metal plate (LED panels are attached) and rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Please note that the assembly fits tightly and may require a bit of effort to remove.
  7. Line up the holes in the metal plate with the stand-offs of the outer assembly and install the 4 bolts removed in step 5.

  8. Next, install the inner white plastic making sure to place the charge port at the 3 o’clock position.
  9. Install the 4 bolts removed in step 3.

  10. Lastly, Install the iPad and put the faceplate back on.
